The intent in demarcating the Public Facilities Zone is:
- To make the DSIR selfâcontained in terms of health, education, cultural, Government, sports and open space facilities
- Using âland as a resourceâ strategy to reserve key land parcels for city level facilities and for potential development of catalyst projects by DSIRDA
